Leah's Amazing Story About The [Vans Warped Tour '05]

Well, i missed the greatrst concert ever:( oh well..maybe next year lol
well atleast my friends Leah and Tarynn went to tell me all about it...and now im gonna tell all of you who missed out about Leah and Tarynn adventure at the Warped Tour:P its actually pretty funny. Enjoy:P


Vans Warped Tour 2005



First we get there and we were there 2 hours early so we waited in line for 2 hours..during those 2 hours this little guy about my height came up to us and asked us to listing to his c.d so we did..it was pretty good and so tarynn decided to buy for it for 10$ She couldn’t resist he was so cute but gross at the same time haha. He even had little signs saying were called “All Left Out” and “we come all the way from new Zealand” haha he had an accent and he needed money to get home so he sold his c.d’s.



Then we finally get searched and we waited to get threw the gates for about 20 minutes and then finally let us in! we looked around for a bit. Then we copied the schedule and the first band we saw was The starting Line. The second band we saw was Matchbook Romance. After they played we waited at that stage because we wanted to see MxPx play after that and we were front row so we didn’t want to move. Anyways one of the security guards found a guitar pick from matchbook romance and about 8 people were grabbing for it and he was teasing everyone pretending to give it to them and then take it away and then he finally picked someone to give it to and it was me :D haha I was so happy. Then MxPx came on and they played 2 of my favorite songs, then one of the guitarists threw me a pic so I got a pic from MxPx too! After they played we still stayed at that stage because Billy Talent was playing there so we had been at that stage for about 2 hours already since we have to wait about 25 min. between each band since they have to set everything up. So while we were waiting Me tarynn and Thomas met a guy from B.C he was really nice and then the guy beside me was talking to me for a while. Waiting for billy talent we also watched atreyu play at the other stage. During the Billy Talent concert I was getting sooooo squished and so one of the really nice security guards said if you need to get out just tell me so im like okay, so then about 2 songs later I couldn’t take it anymore so he took me out. Then we went to the other stage to see My Chemical Romance. They played so good but we had to get out of the mosh again cuz we couldn’t take it anymore :P so we sat by the gates and watched from the corner. After that senses Fail and Thrice and we didn’t want to see them THAT BAD so we went to go take a break and lay on the fence.

We waited until Thrice was done and we went to stage were Alexisonfire was playing. While we were waiting for alexisonfire to come out we saw leah from much music interviewing some guy. So we got in to the mosh and me and tarynn stayed in the mosh for about half the first song IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO CRAZY!!!!! I lost my shoe and some guy found it for me and came up to me and was like “I found your shoe!” lol I was like omg thanks so much! And he gave me a big hug haha he was hot and he had a super nice body ;) :P. We got soo pushed ..well actually that wasn’t the reason we needed to get out it was because we got sooo squished at the other stages and we were getting crazzzy squished and pushed, I almost passed out! So me and tarynn asked some guys to pick us up so we could crowd surf out of the mosh. Thomas stayed in there and we waited for him as we sat by the fences again and listened to them :P HaHa so we now we sound like baby’s since we got out of 3 concerts already. Then we went to all the tents and I bought 2 belts, one mcr belt and one checkered belt. Tarynn bought a MCR belt and Thomas bought 3 shirts. After that we went to go see the transplants With TRAVIS BARKER as the drummer (L) haHa he is such a good drummer hes crazzzzy fast u cant even tell hes hitting the drums!...After that we went to go see Hawthorne Heights They played sooo good we were second row and one of the guitarists came up right in front of us and we got to touch him ;) :P and I reached super high so I played a bit of his guiater lol after that the lead singer said he would go to his “merch tent” so sign autographs so we left the performance a little bit early to get to the tent so we could be first in line for autographs. So when we got to the tent I bought their c.d so I could get it singed and I lost it lol so I asked the guy if I could have another one and then he made me give him a kiss on the cheek for it so when the lead singer came I got it signed and I asked him for a guitar pick and he checked his pockets and gave me one J haha so I now had 3 guitar picks! Then we went to some small tent to see comeback kid and then we went to go see Underoath. During Underoath I heard Fall Out Boy playing so I freaked out but nobody would come with me to go see them so we decied that tarynn and Thomas would stay there and I would go to see Fall out boy alone. So went running and I pushed tons of people to get to the front. So I got pretty far in and there were tons of guys there dancing with me and stuff and they asked me if I wanted to go up so I said sure and they lifted me up to mosh and it was super fun and then I would just run back in again and do it over and over :P haha they were super nice, they would kinda protect me a bit so I wouldn’t get killed lol :P Anyway after fall out boy played the guys were giving my high fives and stuff they were super awesome. Then Thomas waited and me and tarynn went to go mosh at Dropkick Murpheys, it was the last band playing so I asked guys to bring me up and then I lost my shoe so I was yelling at ta rynn to get it. And then they dropped me and some other guys picked me back up and I got out. After I got out this guy came up to me and asked me where my shoe was and I said my friend had it.So then he found me a shoe laying on the ground until tarynn came out. He was looking for a friend too so we waited there together and talked for a bit lol he was really ugly but nice, hes name was mike he was from Calgary, he was 19 and he said he had a thing for blondes !! HAHA he asked me if I smoked and told me never start smoking he also asked me if I had a tattoo lol anyway tarynn finally came out of the mosh and then I said bye to Mike and he told me to have a good time in Calgary and shook my hand. Then me and tarynn went to go see Thomas and we decided to walk around to se if we could meet anymore bands or get free stuff. So then we met the lead singer from fall Out boy(L)(L)(L) I got his autograph and a hugJ we kept on walking around and I talked to the lead singer from hawthrone heights again and asked him for a hug hehe… then we found these guys from a band called Greeley estates and they were super hot they gave us their autographs and we talked for a bit. Then we just kept walking around and left.



ADVICE: never wear earring’s in a mosh pit!!! And it waaaay crazier then it looks lol at the end I was crowd surfing like craaaazy so then I finally got Tarynn to come with me at the very end lol but she missed out the best crowd surfing at Fall Out Boy…. I MISSED A BIT OF STUFF IN THERE BUT ITS WAY TO MUCH TYPING SO THAT’S THE BIG THINGS!
